This privacy policy explains which personal data is processed in connection with the platform, for what purposes, on which legal bases, and which rights are available to data subjects.

The controller is responsible for lawful processing of data relating to users, poll creators, respondents, and invited participants.

2. Scope of processed data

Depending on how the platform is used, we may process account data, email address, poll content, comments, invitation lists, billing data, technical logs, and information about sessions and devices.

Respondent data may include technical identifiers and information required to record a vote and prevent abuse.
For paid services, data required for settlement, accounting, and payment handling may also be processed.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Data is processed mainly to provide the services, maintain accounts, handle polls, invite participants, communicate with users, ensure security, and comply with legal obligations.

The legal basis may be performance of a contract or steps prior to a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or consent, depending on the purpose.
Legitimate interests include protecting poll creators, preventing abuse, handling moderation, defending claims, and improving service security.

4. Data recipients

Data may be entrusted to entities supporting QuickDecisionsLink.com in providing the services, such as hosting providers, IT infrastructure providers, email providers, payment partners, accounting providers, security providers, and analytics providers.

The scope of disclosure is limited to what is necessary for the relevant purpose.
Where data is transferred outside the EEA, the transfer is based on safeguards required by law, such as standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention periods

We store data for as long as necessary to maintain accounts, operate polls, handle billing, provide security, defend claims, and comply with legal obligations.

Billing and accounting data is retained for the period required by tax and accounting laws.
Technical logs and security data may be stored for shorter periods unless they are needed to detect abuse or defend claims.

6. Rights of data subjects

Data subjects have the right to access their data, rectify it, erase it, restrict processing, request portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent where applicable, subject to legal conditions.
